The Bees Knees

We remodeled our upstairs bathroom last year but I finally finished decorating it now! I absolutely love how it turned out! What do you guys think? Check it out below! It has the ‘farmhouse’ look that I carry out throughout my entire house. I am clearly Rae Dunn and Hobby Lobby obsessed but I can’t help it! Everything they make is adorable! Rae Dunn items are perfect to match literally ANY theme. I added the few bee themed items and it pulled everything together! If you are interested in hearing about the details and where I purchased certain items keep reading!

My husband Keanu and I began the process by finding tile for the tub surround and flooring. We went with the white subway tile and a ‘marble’ look for the floor. We loved the look so much that we decided to carry out the subway tile into the actual bathroom! The good thing about subway tile is that it will never go out of style and no matter what theme or color you change the bathroom to, it will always match! We wanted to update and modernize this bathroom due to the previous nature of it being really outdated and not very spacious. We added a glass shower door for an extra touch but you have to be cautious about cleaning it to not have watermarks.

Next, I looked into vanities and found a SUPER good deal at Home Depot. We got the vanity, white top, faucet, and mirror all for $150.00! I couldn’t believe it! So if any of you are in the market to revamp your bathroom, check out Home Depot because the sale is on again!

As for decor, I paired grey, white, black, and yellow together. I found the Rae Dunn items at Marshalls ($6.99 or less), as well as the white wood shelves ($16.99 each), flowers ($6.99) and the bee towels (Bath Towel $7.99. Hand Towel $5.99). The “Farm Fresh Honey” wall art was purchased at World Market ($24.99) and lastly, the “Bee Happy” and “You’re the Bees Knees” signs came from Hobby Lobby!

Once you have decided the main theme for the room you’re decorating, it is so easy from there!

If you are having troubles finding items, you must not be looking in the right places!

My go-to decor stores are Hobby Lobby (of course) and one of the

TJX company stores (Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Homegoods).
