The recent coronavirus pandemic has affected many individuals across the world. It has changed how we work, learn, and carry out our daily routines. Schools are starting to close for the remainder of the school year; graduations, weddings, baby showers, and other important events are getting cancelled. Many states have even issued a 'Safer at Home' order in which non-essential businesses are required to close their doors and strictly operate online if it's possible.
In turn, essential businesses are working twice as hard to keep up with the demand. The frontline and essential workers are continuing to work, putting themselves at risk. Small business owners are experiencing a reduced amount of customers and are forced to adapt by either offering curbside pickup or online ordering to increase their sales. So, it is very important to thank and support the workers and small businesses during this time.
It has been a scary world to live in while being pregnant. It is tough to think about going to the doctor or even delivering a baby without your spouse or any loved ones. Many have also had to cancel their baby showers, including myself. However, we are all making the best of it and are conducting 'drive through', 'shower by mail', or other creative parties that remain safe for everyone in attendance.
