I have been getting asked about sharing our nursery for awhile now! I know you've all been very patient with me! If you know me, I absolutely love decorating and know that everything has to be perfect. I officially have everything in place and it is all ready to go for baby Grayson's arrival!
I adore this space and am really happy how it turned out! When I found out I was having a boy, I was debating on what theme to do. I knew that I wanted something different and out of the ordinary. I didn't want a 'typical' boy theme like dinosaurs or trucks.
We first decided on a paint color, which is called 'Scallion' by Behr. Keanu knew he wanted to paint the nursery a green color early on so my first instinct was to search for nursery bedding and see if any of them popped out at me. I am very picky and need everything in a room to flow and match. After searching for awhile, I actually found two bedding prints that we could choose from. We were deciding between the two different nursery themes for such a long time! Haha! However, one day we were strolling through Target and found this set of two buffalo prints. It was love at first sight (I know, I'm cheesy). I ran over to show Keanu and he loved them too! Plus, the frames matched exactly with the walnut wood color of our crib and rocking chair. I personally wanted to go with the buffalo theme because of the Copper Pearl 'Bison' print. It was meant to be!
Grayson's personalized buffalo name sign was purchased off of Etsy (linked here). All of the other wall decor items were purchased at Hobby Lobby. I tried to add links but their website is not working. But, I know most of the items are only available for purchase in-store. As for his drawer organizers, I purchased these five piece sets from Ikea. They are a total must have for me! All of his drawers are nice and organized! Let's hope they stay that way (wishful thinking).
